Torrey Dvitto was born June 8th, 1984 at Huntington New York. She is an American model, performer, actress philanthropist and musician. Torrey grew up living in Winter Park Florida. Torrey is of Italian descent. When she was in 4th grade, Torrey performed as a violinist in The Secondary School Orchestra. In the following years, she performed as the soloist for Peter Cook and Christie Brinkley's wedding. Torrey Brinkley's dad, Torrey Torrey, was Billy Joel's drummer. Billy Joel, who performed at Wembley Arena at that time, announced that DeVitto (who was playing drums) was father to a new baby. The announcement was met with a huge amount of cheers. Her younger sister Maryellen was a participant at her first Endurance Discovery Kids Show. Torrey was just a young teenager when she went on a tour together with parents. Torrey went to Youngsville Primary School, which was her first schooling. After graduation, she was most of the period in Japan acting as a fashion model. When she started modeling, she was just 15 as she appeared in advertisements. In the end, she decided that her career was not only in modeling and is looking for a career in acting in 2012. Torrey received praise for the dramatic role she played in The CW supernatural teen dramedy The Vampire Diaries, as the character Dr. Meredith Fell. In The CW Television series One Tree Hill in the series One Tree Hill, she played Carrie. Since 2011 Torrey has been a Hospice Ambassador for the Palliative Care Organization and National Hospice. In addition, she has been an advocate and adviser for the PETA HSU and RAINN Associations. Torrey Dvitto is a mental illness advocate who has brought issues into the spotlight in the month of Mental Health Month in May in the context of National Alliance. The author is Road to Hope, a documentary that explores palliative care in Uganda.

Her career, however, is shattered by numerous controversies. Her involvement has included numerous legal disputes and has even spent several years in jail due to her threatening behavior.
